This new innovation in tattoo removal combines the power of dual laser technologies: Fractional laser ablation and proven Q-Switched laser tattoo removal technology.

The D.Thomas Clinic’s process begins with an erbium laser peel that creates hundreds of tiny but deep micro-channels over the tattooed area, reaching a depth that is close to where the ink is located. Next, the traditional Q-Switched laser is applied to the tattoo with short and strong photoacoustic waves. The laser’s energy is absorbed by the ink pigments, mechanically breaking up the ink molecules into smaller particles. Through the micro-channels created by the erbium laser peel, the photoacoustic waves penetrate deeply into the skin, ensuring maximum removal efficiency. Finally, the body’s immune system naturally absorbs and excretes the smaller ink particles. This innovative process provides a safe and effective way to remove tattoos, leaving your skin clear and healthy.

Remove unwanted tattoos

Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our use of cutting-edge technology that delivers exceptional results, with a dual laser approach to ensure the delivery of a safe and effective solution for tattoo removal. Our technique involves creating micro-channels, significantly reducing the ‘frosting’ effect that often occurs with traditional tattoo removal methods. This reduction allows for more thorough treatments with multiple passes, improving the efficacy of the overall treatment. Additionally, our technique expels a small amount of ink along with water vapour through the micro-channels, allowing us to remove more ink per treatment.

With our innovative process, recovery time after each session is reduced as there is less build-up of hot vapour pressure, which minimises side effects like blistering, scarring, or textural changes. The success rate of deeper ink removal is also increased.

Following each tattoo removal treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, tenderness, and mild grazing for about 72 hours. The area may then peel with potential scabbing, which can cause itchiness for several more days. These reactions are expected as our treatment is active and stimulating. To help you manage your recovery time effectively, we provide pre and post-care advice during our required consultation, which includes a patch test at least 48 hours before your full treatment.

We aim to provide you with the most effective and safe tattoo removal experience possible, and our innovative technique is designed to deliver just that.
