How can I make a booking?

Please call us on 020 7118 9000 or email on info@dthomas.com or go to our online booking to  book a consultation and some of our Advaned Non-Laser and Skin Booster treatments that do not require a 48 hour patch test.

Why can I not make a booking for a laser treatment online?

Due to the bespoke and high tech nature of our treatments, we need to carry out a one-on-one consultation and a patch test to ensure that you are suitable for laser treatments.  D.Thomas Clinic treatments are tailored to each client individually in order to achieve the best results possible.

What happens if I need to cancel a booking?

Please notifiy us as soon as possible either by phone on 020 7118 9000 or email at info@dthomas.com as the D.Thomas Clinic has a strict 48 hour cancellation policy.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before your treatment, you will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.

What happens in a skin consultation? Can't it be done virtually?

All first-time clients require a consultation where one of our expert skin therapists will assess your skin and talk to you in detail about your skin, concerns and lifestyle so that we can create the right bespoke treatment plan to achieve the best results possible for you.

Unlike some skin clinics, we do not offer consultations virtully, as we believe that to truly assess your skin and understand your own concerns and, in turn, put together the best treatment plan possible, we need to see our clients and their skin in person.

During your consultation, you will be given a patch test that is required for certain treatments such as lasers and peels. This is a legal requirement and must be completed a minimum of 48 hours prior to your first treatment to ensure you do not experience any adverse side effects from any of our procedures.

Consultations take 45 minutes and the cost of a consulation is redeemable against any future treatments of £100 and over booked at the D.Thomas Clinic.  Consultantation fees with Debbie are not refundable and are 30 minutes long. Please see our full terms and conditions.

Why do I need a patch test 48 hours before my treatment?

A patch test is a mandatory requirement before any laser treatment is carried out to ensure that we maintain our code of conduct in line with all legal and local rules and regulations. The patch test enables us to know if your skin is suitable for recommended procedures before any laser treatment or peel is carried out.  It also helps us to make sure the correct settings are used to maximise the results of the treatment.  For help and information about patch tests and relevant treatments that require a valid test, please call our Front of House team on 020 7118 9000 or email us at info@dthomas.com

I don't know what treatment to book - what should I do?

We invite all our first-time clients in for a consultation where one of our expert skin therapists will assess your skin and talk to you in detail about your skin, concerns and lifestyle so that we can create the right bespoke treatment plan to achieve the best results possible for you.  Don’t worry, our team of highly trained skin experts will create the right treatment plan for your skin.

The skin can feel slightly warm during and after the treatment. Redness can last up to 24 hours and may last slightly longer depending on which laser treatment has been carried out. You will receive an email from us prior and post treatment with detailed guidance and advice about your treatment.

How long is the down time after laser treatment?

The downtime for each laser treatment can vary depending on what skin concerns you are being treated for. Downtime, for some, can be very minimal with mild redness for a couple of hours but redness could last between three and seven days with some dryness and flaking. Everyone’s skin is diffefrent and will react differently.

Can I have treatment if I am undergoing medical attention?

As part of the clinic’s mandatory consultation and registration process, you will be required to complete a full medical history form before any treatment is carried out. This is to ensure that we review all medical conditions and medications that may be a contraindication to some of our treatments.  We will ensure that any programme is curated based on your individual health and well-being situation.

Is it safe to have a laser treatment when I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Due to the body being hyper sensitive and reactive whilst pregnant or breastfeeding, the only laser treatment that we can carry out is the Byonik. This is a pulse triggered cold laser which uses a non thermal laser wavelength to help with skin healing, repair and rejuvenation.  Our team of expert therapists will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have.
