As a young adult struggling with acne, I felt hopeless and out of options. Desperate for a solution, I turned to prescription medications, only to find that they made my skin worse. It was then that I began my journey of discovery, delving deep into the science of skincare and learning about how the skin works on a cellular level and how different ingredients can impact it in the long run. My struggles with acne sparked a passion for skincare that has stayed with me ever since, and the desire to help others reclaim control of their skin, just as I have, is a powerful driving force for me.

At the D.Thomas Clinic I continue to practise my passion for skincare every day. As someone who has first-hand experience with the struggles of problematic skin, I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve healthy, radiant skin. Whether through laser treatments or personalised skincare regimes, I am grateful to have joined the D.Thomas Clinic as it allows me to combine my love for science and skincare, and I am constantly inspired by the transformative power of effective skin and self-care.

Polina Syromyatnikova

In my twenties, I struggled with acne that left me feeling incredibly self-conscious, until laser treatments and medical-grade skincare transformed my skin. It felt like a true Cinderella moment. What I love about the DT Signature treatments is how completely tailored they are; clients get exactly what their skin needs at that specific time, often addressing multiple concerns in a single session. I wish more young people sought skincare advice from specialists rather than social media trends. My approach is all about attentive, educational care, adapting to the skin’s needs in the moment. My hero ingredient is retinol; the gold standard of anti-ageing, with research to prove it. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me in a HIIT studio or at a collage-making masterclass.

Daisy Bradshaw

With over five years of experience specialising in advanced laser treatments, I work to address concerns such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation, scarring, and overall skin rejuvenation. I have worked internationally, including in Sydney, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse range of skin types and conditions. My approach is results-driven, precise, and focused on long-term skin health.

My journey into skincare began at a young age, fuelled by a love for beauty and hands-on experimentation - giving my mother and grandmother facials and creating my own home remedies. This early passion was later shaped by my personal experience with acne, which led me to study skin therapy. Today, I take a holistic, client-focused approach, combining advanced technology with personalised care to help clients achieve healthy, confident skin that lasts.

Lina Avila

I was drawn to skin because I wanted to help people feel confident in theirs. At D.Thomas Clinic, I love being able to customise treatments using advanced, reliable technology where every plan is built around individual needs. My approach is results-driven and detail-focused, with deep cleansing and thorough extractions as the foundation before moving on to the next phase. My “desert island” ingredient? A broad-spectrum SPF... without it, even the best ingredients can’t do their job. Fun fact about me is I’m based in Italy and when I’m not in the clinic you’ll usually find me having fun with my son.

There is something undeniably captivating about the human skin. From a young age, I was fascinated with its intricacies and the various ways we can care for it. My mother, a true skincare aficionado, instilled in me a passion for maintaining healthy, radiant skin. As I grew older and delved deeper into the world of lasers and advanced skincare treatments, I realised just how much these techniques can not only address specific skin concerns, but also promote long-term skin health.

It may sound cliche, but caring for the skin truly is my destiny. At the D.Thomas Clinic, I am able to nurture my passion for skin on a daily basis. My journey in this field has been incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I am constantly striving to stay current on the latest techniques and technologies. Working at the clinic, I have the privilege of helping clients attain the radiant, healthy skin of their deams.. It is deeply fulfilling to be able to indulge in my passion every day and I am proud to be a part of this dedicated team.

Zuly Jaimes

Growing up struggling with acne left me with an acute awareness of the importance of skin health. However, it wasn’t until I started working with contestants for Miss Venezuela at age of 18, that my passion for skin truly blossomed. As I watched their skin transform over a year of dedicated skin care, I came to understand the importance of professional treatments and proper home care. I became interested in improving people’s skin and also being a part of their journeys to better skin health and self-confidence.

Now at the D.Thomas Clinic, with access to advanced technologies and treatments that I could only have dreamed of in my youth, I am thrilled to be able to share my knowledge with our clients and help them take their skin care to the next level.
