Our Lumenis offers a number of technologies, one being the infamous Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) which targets multiple skin concerns, as well as Q-Switched a nano-pulse technology that provides controlled heating for safe and effective skin concerns.
Intense Pulsed Light
IPL delivers targeted wavelengths of light to trigger the body’s regeneration process, helping to repair a variety of skin concerns as well as boosting overall skin health.
Pigmentation – IPL delivers short pulses of light which are absorbed by melanin found in age spots, sun spots and pigmentation areas, destroying the melanin for the pigmentation to eventually flake or fade away
Acne and rosacea – stimulating porphyrin production helps to kill acne-associated bacteria, as well as shrinking oil glands and strengthening your skin barrier for less reactivity/sensitivity.
Vascular lesions, vein removal and rosacea – using the same approach as for treating pigmentation, filters can be utilised with IPL to treat vascular related concerns, to calm and reduce inflammation and lesions.
Q-Switched technology treats pigment in the skin, it delivers heat to exactly where it’s needed, shattering pigment and evening out skin tone. With short, sharp punches of high-energy pulses, causing rapid heating and breaking down unwanted pigment.
Pigmentation – Q-Switched targets pigment, so is great for treating age spots, sun spots and pigmentation, thanks to its delivery system it is especially good at treating melasma.
Vascular lesions – Q-Switched technology can effectively shatter vascular concerns like veins and broken capillaries.
Tattoo removal – using the same approach as for treating pigmentation, Q-Switched technology targets pigment, like that found in ink from tattoos.
Lumenis Resurfx is an advanced non-ablative fractional laser with next level precision and control for skin rejuvenation and cellular renewal.
Skin rejuvenation – Resufx works by creating micro-wounded within the skin through the induction of heat to stimulate repair and regeneration in the skin.
